Terms and conditions for Testing United conference

  • These terms and conditions apply to the purchase of VR tickets and 2 day tickets in Bratislava or Florida.
  • The conditions further define and specify the rights and obligations of the Testing United conference („conference“) organizer (Krone Consulting s.r.o., “organizer”), the partner and the buyer (“customer”).
  • The conference is operated on a website located at testingunited.com
  • Through the tickets offer located at the internet address www.testingunited.com, the organizer allows customers to make a purchase of tickets
  • The operator of the website is Krone Consulting s.r.o., company Registration No.: 502 48 332 VAT Tax ID: SK2120266060, with its registered office at Mlynské Nivy 5, 821 09 Bratislava, incorporated in the Commercial Register administered by the Slovak Ministry of Justice, File No. 110642/B (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”).
  • These terms and conditions shall remain in force until they are repealed or until the terms and conditions by which they are replaced take effect.
  • In matters in respect of which the choice of law is admissible, purchase contracts concluded via the www.testingunited.com are governed by the law of the Slovak Republic.
  • Communication between the customer and the partner takes place through the organizer. The preferred means of communication is electronic mail. The contact address of the operator is tickets@testingunited.com

Specialized terms and conditions for VR Tickets

By purchasing online/virtual streaming VR ticket customer will receive:

  • Access to all the presentations both in Virtual Venue and desktop web-app
  • Access to 1:1 3D modelled Venue with other delegates from both virtual and physical world
  • His/hers AI-modelled 3D portrait to be represented in video-chats and networking

Customer of VR ticket will also receive the gift, virtual reality glasses Oculus Quest 2 64 GB („goods“, „gift“)  provided to a customer by the partner.

Goods are to be delivered to the adress provided by customer.

Payment and delivery terms

  • The organizer accepts payment for the tickets by invoice and by credit card – we send proforma-invoice to you and you have 7 days to make payment. After payment is received, we issue tax-receipt (invoice) and confirm the tickets registration.
  • After the confirmation of the ticket registration, the partner will also be provided the information necessary for the gift delivery if the partner chose the VR type of ticket.
  • Details of the order and the expected date of delivery of the goods to the buyer will be agreed by e-mail.If necessary, all further information regarding the order will be sent to the e-mail address provided. Current pandemic situation may have impact on the time of delivery.
  • Latest date for placing an order for VR type of ticket is August 1st 2023, so that the partner has sufficient amount of time to deliver the goods.
  • The partner is obliged to fulfill the order and deliver the goods to the buyer with sufficient amount of time for the customer to prepare the goods for the conference. The only exception for later delivery may be delays due to the current pandemic situation. In case the partner will fail to fulfill the order and deliver the good by the start of the conference, the buyer shall be refunded (as described in the refund section).
  • The goods are considered taken over by the buyer at the moment when the buyer or a third party designated by him takes over all parts of the ordered goods.
  • The partner is entitled to cancel the contract because of sellout, unavailability of goods or the manufacturer, importer or supplier of the goods agreed in the contract interrupted production or make such major changes that prevented the realization of the fulfillment of the partner’s obligations under the contract or for reasons of force majeure or if even with all the efforts that can be reasonably required of him, he is not able to deliver the goods to the buyer within the period specified in these general terms and conditions or at the price specified on www.testingunited.com. The partner is obliged to immediately inform the organizer or the buyer directly of this fact and return the deposit already paid for the goods agreed in the contract within 14 days of notification of withdrawal from the contract by transfer to the account designated by the buyer.

Use of the goods

The use of the Oculus Products is governed by both the Facebook Terms of Service (located at facebook.com/terms/) and these Supplemental Meta Terms of Service (these “Meta Terms”, and together with the Facebook Terms of Service, the “Terms”), which together form an agreement between the buyer and Meta, Inc. Where these Terms apply, the term “Meta Products” as used in our terms and policies include the Meta Products. By using Meta Products, buyer agree to terms available in the following official terms of service Oculus.

Return policy

  • “Compensation” means compensation in the form of the provision of a free ticket and / or financial compensation in the form of a refund of the purchase price of either the free ticket and the goods as specified in the Complaints Procedure.
  • “Goods” or „glasses“ are the glasses intended for the Testing United Conference.

Claims policy

  • If the partner fails to deliver the goods to the customer by the date of the conference or the goods will not be fuctional at the date of conference, customer will be entitled to receive a refund 50 percent of the price of the ticket as an apology for inability to experience the conference live. The access to all material from the conference will be available to them without change.
  • Refund will be transfered to the designated bank account by the customer by the 30 days of finalizing the claims process.
  • In the event that the customer’s glasses cease to function after the conference, he loses the right to compensation in the form of a refund.
  • If it is not possible to assess the error on the spot, Krone Consulting s. r. o. reserves the right to investigate the complaint and to inform the customer via email provided within 30 days of the complaint being filed, or in another form specified in the complaint record.
  • Glasses can be claimed only in the cases and deadlines described in these Complaints Rules.
  • Claims are always submitted to an authorized employee of Krone Consulting s. r. o.
  • The customer is obliged to file a complaint immediately after finding out the defect of the glasses, but no later than the expiration of the complaint period.
  • If it is not possible to exchange the goods that were claimed prior the conference, the Customer will be provided with compensation in the form of a refund of 50 percent of the ticket price.
  • Krone Consulting s. r. about. does not provide customers with the possibility of claiming glasses that have been obtained free of charge – complaints apply only to purchased glasses.
  • In the event that at any time after delivery of the glasses free of charge to the purchased ticket for the Testing United Conference, the Customer finds out that they are defective, he has the right to purchase new glasses from Krone Consulting s.r.o.

This Warranty does not cover the following:

  • regular inspections, maintenance and repair or replacement of parts due to normal wear and tear,
  • cosmetic damage, including, but not limited to, scratches and dents,
  • the cost of transporting, removing or installing the glasses,
  • malfunction or damage caused by any cause not attributable to the manufacture and design of the Spectacles (including but not limited to fire, water, negligence, viruses, misuse, etc.);
  • the use of the glasses in the course of a business, trade or profession,
  • misuse or misuse, including, but not limited to, failure to use these glasses for their normal purposes in accordance with partner’s instructions for use and maintenance;
  • the use of the glasses with accessories, chargers or consumables not approved by xxx for use with the glasses,
  • failure of the glasses resulting from incorrect or incomplete installation or use not complying with the currently applicable technical or safety standards or failure to follow the instructions given in the Instructions for Use of the glasses, only if the installation was performed by partner,
  • damage to the battery caused by overcharging or using it in violation of the specific glasses care instructions in the Eyewear Instructions for Use;
  • cases where the glasses have been damaged as a result of a change in the configuration of the shipped product (either hardware or software) only if approved in advance by partner.

Name Changes and ticket type upgrades

Only onsite tickets can be changed from one person to another.  Attendees can be changed free of charge at any time up to three days before conference start (latest day for name changes is August 30th 2023) – so if for any reason you cannot attend, you can transfer your ticket to a colleague. The change can only be done in advance by email contacting tickets@testingunited.com.

Cancellations

The following administration charges apply:

  • Cancellations made prior to May 31st 2023  are free of charge.
  • Cancellations made after May 31st 2023 are non-refundable, thereafter no refunds will be made including in instances of non-attendance.

Discounts and Ticket Type Upgrades

It is possible to upgrade Online Streaming VR Ticket to Two day Conference. It is not possible to downgrade to One day Conference Ticket. Applicable ticket type upgrades are possible prior to July 30th 2023 and are subject to availability.

Personal Data Usage

By buying a ticket to a Testing United event (or completing another web-based or printed form), you consent for organizing company, Krone Consulting s.r.o (and related companies) to collect, process and use your personal data for the purposes outlined below:

To contact you regarding information on the Conference you have paid for. (In the unlikely event data is proposed to be shared with a third-party, you will be asked explicitly for consent when you provide this data).

Free Tickets

Free tickets are awarded as prizes to competition winners. These cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer and the value of free tickets cannot be redeemed in any other way or transferred to a third party.

Privacy for Videography and Photography

For events highlights footage and general photography we do not normally obtain express consent from individuals who are incidentally caught on camera as part of the general scene. Same applies to the reality 3D models of participants that will appear in networking and video chats. However we will not purposefully film any footage or take any photos that makes an individual identifiable, beyond delegate interviews that already require explicit consent. If an individual or organisation asks us to not to include them in images or video shots, due to a concern about privacy, we should normally do so, unless it is editorially justified to continue. Although prior consent will be required for interviews, individuals and organisations have the right to withdraw consent after footage has been processed. Testing United will discontinue use of the footage, unless there is a legitimate business interest, in which case the footage can be used without consent. Participants have the right to receive updates from Testing United for the usage of any footage in future campaigns/products. By checking the box before sending the order, the buyer declares that he has read these general terms and conditions, fully understands their content and that he agrees with them.
