Half-Day Workshop (3 hours)
Human-Machine collaboration: Exploratory testing with your GenAI-peer
Nov 25 (Day 1)
09:00 - 12:00
Workshop room 2

Exploratory testing is a very popular approach for various reasons. Automated test execution is great, but it needs to be complemented by human creativity and curiosity. That's one of the reasons for exploratory testing to remain relevant (or be even more important then before).

Good exploratory testing is done by two people, one executes the tests, the other logs the tests and together they design the tests and evaluate the outcomes. But some argue that doing tests with two people is too expensive. Can one person be substituted by a GenAI tool?

This hands-on workshop is about: How can you use your GenAI tool to pair with you, instead of working with a person? GenAI as your peer, what can it do? And what can it not do?

Exploratory testing with your GenAI-peer: more effective, more efficient and sometimes even more fun!!

Who is this for?

Test Engineers, Quality Engineers, Test Automation Engineers, Test Managers, Quality Orchestrators, Scrum Masters and other IT-team roles that are involved in evaluating the quality of built systems.

Key Takeaways
  • Exploratory testing becomes even more important with AI Infused Applications
  • Exploratory testing can now be done by one person paired with a GenAI (LLM) tool
  • Your GenAI peer makes your exploratory testing more effective, more efficient and more fun
